The history of this brand begins with the founding in two different places in the United States, Vendorlator Inc. founded in Fresno, California in 1931 and a little later, Vendo Co. founded in 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri.

These two companies would eventually merge in 1956 and as early as 1961 subsidiaries were opened in Germany, France and Belgium.

In 1967 the first subsidiary was established in Spain and in 1988 another milestone in the company's history occurred, the incorporation of Vendo into Sanden Corporation.

In 2004 the first vending machine with CO2-based refrigerant was created and new locations were established in the subsidiaries in France and Belgium.

In 2011, the 50th anniversary of the brand and commercial activity in Europe was celebrated.

Finally, in 2015, new coffee machines are developed, the Sanden Vendo SD X Desing Life slave range.
